Participants in the Eugene Grid Project of 2018-2023 made images monthly from assigned grids of the metro area. They then shared their images for feedback and to observe each photographer’s unique “vision” of that particular place and, for me, the dynamic that exists between 'place’ and the ‘things’ found there.
The Eugene Grid Project has allowed access to a recurring theme in my photography: How a sense of “place” and its “things” is enhanced, even defined, by the intriguing dynamic between them.
